Let’s Talk Evaluations
Our in depth evaluations will give you a thorough understanding of your child’s areas of strength and weakness. To provide the best services possible, we specialize in oral and written language and speech sound disorders. You can find more information on these domains in our Communication 101 page and in our blog. Here’s what you can expect from our evaluation process.
Prior to the Evaluation
Once we receive your initial contact, you’ll receive a link to your client portal for the intake paperwork. This ensures the evaluation runs smoothly and addresses all of your concerns.
Evaluation
A full speech-language evaluation will take 2-5 hours and a speech sound production evaluation will take about 1 hour. Breaks will be provided, and the evaluation can be split up across multiple days.
The evaluation consists of standardized and non-standardized assessment, clinical observation, and caregiver report.
Post Evaluation
You’ll receive a PDF of the report 1-2 weeks after the evaluation, which will include the official treatment recommendation.
After you have a chance to independently review the report, we’ll set up a complimentary meeting to discuss it in detail and answer any questions you may have.

We accept payment via HSA, FSA, credit card, cash, and check.
We can provide a superbill for reimbursement of out-of-network coverage. Some insurance plans will reimburse for out-of-network coverage, and reimbursement may vary.
